Kids of all ages celebrate their love of the arts at the Michener Art Museum.
Creative Arts Classes at the Michener inspire students to create original works of art
in a variety of studio art, arts enrichment, interdisciplinary arts and gallery programs.
From pre-kindergarten to adult students, studio classes and multicultural exploration, our
Education Department offers a lifetime of learning opportunities.

The Michener Art Museum is pleased to announce that beginning this spring
(projected completion date is April 1, 2012) we will open our doors to new and
improved art studio classroom spaces and a permanent children's gallery. Keep
your eyes open for our email announcing the opening of the space, and the start
up of our next session of art studio classes.
We still have much to offer during construction. Wednesday and Thursday morning
and afternoon sessions of the popular Learning to Look and Listen class will
continue to be an avenue of museum exploration and discovery beginning in
January — registration is now open! Students who register for this class will be
the first to initiate the new art studio classrooms when renovations are
completed in the spring!
All other art classes, Scout programs, and Art Door school tours have been
suspended while the education space undergoes renovations.

or 48 hours prior to the first class, whichever is sooner. If this is a last minute registration,
please bring it with you to the first class. You do not need to complete this form for one day workshops.
