	The Family Education Center at the Michener Museum

Visit the Family Education Center at the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown made especially for students of all ages. Our Family Education Center is a space with resources and hands-on interactive objects for children and families focused on our permanent collection and changing exhibitions. There is an excellent collection of books for all ages, many of which are on sale at our Museum gift shops. Study how a sculptural mold is made and manipulate puzzles related to works of art. Borrow our museum activity sheets to stimulate your thinking as you walk through the galleries. Older kids and adults can check out the Artists' Database in Doylestown and New Hope with information on hundreds of artists with connections to the Bucks County region. Use our discovery boxes such as "Look Into a Landscape" and "We All Collect" to explore topics and themes in our collection.

In addition, teachers and parents can now visit our website and download a sampling of activity sheets for kids to use in the galleries, in classrooms and at home that will make a trip to the Michener more fun and meaningful.
