Family Education Center
Come visit this area in the galleries made especially for students of all ages.
Our family education center is a space with resources and hands-on interactives
for children and families focused on our permanent collection and on changing
exhibits. Use our discovery boxes such as "Look Into a Landscape" and "We All
Collect" to explore topics and themes in our collection.
PTO Special Family Night at the Michener
Parent and teacher organizations and their schools are invited to join in the
fun and creativity that the Michener Art Museum offers children and their
families. Program can include: Music, tour of museum's galleries puppet shows,
cartooning and hands-on art workshop for the family. Program can also be
designed to meet a specific need. Arrangements should be made three months in
advance.
