Art Action
Art Action brings children and their parents from the Milford Square Transitional Housing Shelter to the Museum to learn, create and spend quality time together.
Arts Enrichment
Calling all teachers! Work with the Michener Museum Education Outreach Department to coordinate an arts enrichment program at your school.
Art's First Steps: Preschool Outreach Programs
Preschools will work with museum educators during the year to learn about works of art and engage students in the art making process, balancing classroom visits with visits to the Museum.
Arty Parties
Give your child's next party an arty twist! We'll create a wonderful, fun-filled and educational experience that everyone will enjoy - complete with a gallery tour, studio art class, birthday cake and beverages. We host parties for kids, teens and adults.
Camp Capers
Calling all camp directors! Enrich your camp's summer program by bringing your campers to the Michener Art Museum. Tour the galleries, see the sculpture garden, and work in the studio to create an original work of art.
Children's Gallery
Our Children's Gallery hosts three exhibitions of student work each year. Admission to the Children's Gallery is free of charge.
Counselors in Training (CITs)
We're seeking responsible teen volunteers ages 14 to 18 to become Counselors-in-Training (CITs) at the James A. Michener Art Museum's many on-site and off-site summer camps. Volunteering at a Michener camp is a fun way to spend part of your summer and a great way to learn about art, education and art museums. You can also add valuable community service experience to your national junior honor society, national honor society, resume and college applications.

Visit our Doylestown site to experience hands-on and informative interactives that will make your Museum visit more meaningful.
Homeschoolers Programs
Homeschoolers ages 6 to 12 and their parents will discover many aspects of the Michener Art Museum exhibitions and the rich artistic history of Bucks County in these series of programs geared for the homeschooler.

Scholarships for art classes, workshops and summer camps are available through the generous support of local sponsors. We welcome scholarship recipients as well as contributors.
Scout Badge Workshops
Calling all boy and girl scout leaders! Scouts of all ages can earn a
variety of visual arts and arts related badges at the Michener Art Museum.
We schedule workshops throughout the year. You may also schedule a private
visit for your scout troop any time of year.
Web Activities for Kids and Families
Teachers and parents can now visit our website and download a sampling of activity sheets for kids to use in the galleries, in classrooms and at home that will make a trip to the Michener more fun and meaningful.
