Summer Camp

One of the goals of all Michener Museum art classes is to combine new knowledge of art skills, techniques and vocabulary with the ability to be expressive and original. This acrylic painting was created by a high school student in preparation for a college portfolio during the Rivers, Rills and Sunlight summer program.

For specific information about courses, instructors or course content, please call 215-340-9800 ext. 126 or email randerson@michenerartmuseum.org.

For Campers! A variety of programs for all ages, 3 to 18

Your children will experience Bucks County's artistic traditions while exploring a variety of art media and creating original works of art this summer at the Michener.

The permanent collection and special exhibitions at the James A. Michener Art Museum will be the inspiration for artwork all summer long. Camps are available from late June through mid-August in both our Doylestown and New Hope locations. We also host several off-site summer camps.

New! Counselors in Training! Ages 14 to 18

We're seeking responsible teen volunteers ages 14 to 18 to become Counselors-in-Training (CITs) at the James A. Michener Art Museum's many on-site and off-site summer camps. Volunteering at a Michener camp is a fun way to spend part of your summer and a great way to learn about art, education and art museums. You can also add valuable community service experience to your national junior honor society, national honor society, resume and college applications. Read our flyer and download an application here [239K PDF].

Thank you for another wonderful summer camp season!
