Pfundt Gallery, Doylestown

Sandy Sorlien is a photographer and writer from Philadelphia whose subjects are architecture and landscape. In 1988 she embarked on a project traveling American back roads in all fifty states, for the purpose of phtographing houses with regional character. A decade later, after making over a thousand “house portraits,” she chose one representative image from each state. Some of the most intriguing are presented in this exhibition.

Exhibition sponsored by: Mary Lou and Andrew Abbruzzese, The Pineville Tavern.
