Photographer, writer, publisher, entrepreneur -- Alfred Stieglitz was an
eloquent proponent of photography as a fine art during the late 19th and
early 20th centuries. As seen in this major retrospective, his own work
spanned a multitude of genres, from cloud studies and landscapes, to gritty
and poetic depictions of New York City, to the famed portrait series of his
wife and muse, painter Georgia O'Keeffe.
