He has made a concerted effort to provide sublime food and service across the political spectrum, with the simple philosophy that everyone loves great food. In 2000, he catered then Governor George W. Bush's "whistle stop" train tour between Pittsburgh and St. Louis. In 2003, numbers aside, he took on the challenge of serving 10,000 people during Governor Ed Rendell's Pennsylvania Inauguration.
Recognizing his breadth of experience and unrivaled culinary expertise, the National Constitution Center named his company as its exclusive caterer. In that role he has had the honor and privilege of serving United States Presidents, various Heads of State, Supreme Court Justices and foreign dignitaries. Hansen's focus has always been on serving straightforward food, using the finest ingredients from local purveyors. And the result, sublime food.
