These learning packets enhance the curriculum and help teachers prepare students for their visit. Each packet contains information on works of art from the Michener's permanent collection, special exhibition materials and information on school programs. Also included are activity sheets/lesson plans based on our permanent and special exhibitions for both classroom and museum visits. All museum activities/lessons meet with National Art Standards. Please inquire to which activities correlate with Language Arts and Social Studies Standards. Activities/Lessons are available in grade levels: preschool, elementary, middle, and high school.
